Why it exists

The EFA was formed by franchises that split from the European League of Football, as AP reported. It describes itself as a team-owned league, and 2026 was its first season.

Looking ahead to 2027

Clubs have started re-signing players for 2027. The 2027 team list, schedule and venues are to be confirmed. I'll add them when the EFA publishes them.
